Mark is an excellent communicator through song.  His voice is simply fabulous and it is sweet to your ear while the messages in his songs will penetrate your soul.  Mark's songs are not fluff --- he knows what he writes about.  On December 8, 2001, Mark was hit head-on by a drunk driver in Nashville, TN and pinned inside of his car.  He was cut out, and taken by ambulance to a trauma center.  Mark suffered numerous fractures including both feet, left kneecap, left hip, pelvis, right forearm, right shoulder, both jaws, left eye socket and facial fractures.  He had multiple surgeries and months of therapy and rehabilitations.  Mark was given an emergency tracheotomy and could not speak for 11 days.  When he finally could talk again, he was amazed at how weak his voice had become.  He now feels "beyond bless" to be singing and recording again!  This experience, and others, are captured dramatically in song in order to minister to others.
