Where traditional African dance meets urban dance! Throw in
some heart-thumping drums & hip-hop and you have a unique
and exciting multi-cultural show!

Watch The Video!
Witness dancers jerking, splitting, bouncing and spinning on
their feet, heads and backs.
The show explores the
traditional African roots of today’s urban dance movement
and blends the two, with music and spoken word layered in
for good measure.
“It was
a jolt of electricity!”
Based
on Director Edna Stevens Talton’s journey from her home
country of Liberia to her adopted home of NYC.
The work is less a narrative than a
shimmering collage of dance styles: African dancing, break
dancing, popping, locking, and krumping.
The
dancers in this large multicultural cast move with
intensity, rubber-band flexibility, and infectious joy.
“Their
energy and enthusiasm is infectious...you want to catch it.”
A fun-filled, action-packed
show that will lift you up and recharge your batteries.
Their energy and enthusiasm is infectious...
catch it if you can!
